can anyone help ?

I will be creating a usergroup call "brawlers"

template edit (not sure which template)
for posts created by members who belong to this usergroup, do not display thread unless viewer belongs to usergroup bralwers, admins, mods

result
all posts by members in brawlers usergroup will be not displayed unless viewer belongs to usergroup bralwers, admins, mods; that is invisible to the rest

You already know which template edit you should have to do for this?

Because this is difficult to do. I'm no coder, but I would sugges making live a bit easyer and don't use template edits but only use the usergroup options.
Make a seperate forum where only users belonging to usergroups bralwers, admins and mods are able to post and view posts.
Or is this no option?

I think the template would be showthread though I have not checked;

but you have given me an idea though I am not sure whether it work with usergoup options

Showthread and probably forum display and forumhome too, otherwise you get the name in the lastpost info. I had a search over at vb.org if I could find a mod which could do that, but didn't find any.

i found global ignore in Ban options which may be suitable for my purpose
